Enroll as a Mentor

Instructions

Thanks for serving your fellow members by enrolling as a Mentor!  Welcome!  The Mentor Match Platform is now open for enrollment!  Through December 31, 2017, we will continue to promote the AHP Mentor Program to populate this platform with Mentors and Mentees for the official program start date on January 1, 2018.  You are welcome to match with Mentors and Mentees in this platform now, however, the official cycle for your program tracks through AHP will begin in January, 2018.  To ensure you receive the most out of your new relationship as a Mentor and a Mentee, we strongly recommend you attend the free AHP Mentorship Program Training webinar to review best practices (Date TBA).

As a Mentor, you will benefit from the opportunity to share your personal success story and help an early career fundraiser continue his/her journey at his/her current institution. Coaching may or may not be an integral part of this. It is intended to be a fulfilling and inspirational program for you as well as the Mentees and an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on the field. Please note: Initially, AHP is requiring that Mentors have a minimum of five years’ experience in front line healthcare fundraising, with direct donor acquisition involvement.
